A Residential Program in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Palladium Private is based in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, at the foot of the Glasshouse Mountains, removed from the routines and pressures of daily life.

The program is built on a Modified Therapeutic Community model. Recovery happens within a structured group environment, alongside individual therapy sessions with an appointed therapist. The focus is on understanding what’s driving someone’s experience, not just managing symptoms.

The program is NSQHS-accredited, self-funded, and runs for approximately four weeks.

When you’re ready to find out more, our intake team can walk you through what’s involved.

How Care Is Delivered

Every person who comes to Palladium Private works with an appointed therapist from the start. Together, they build an understanding of what’s driving the person’s experience and what recovery needs to look like for them specifically.

Individual therapy sessions run alongside group psychotherapy and psychoeducation. Wellness activities including yoga, personal training, and massage, are woven into the weekly schedule.

The clinical team includes psychotherapists, counsellors, and registered nurses. A psychologist is part of the team, though not all clients receive individual psychology sessions.

Palladium Private is nationally accredited under NSQHS standards, the same framework that applies to Australian hospitals.

Our holistic approach means:

The program is designed so people can focus on what they’re there to do.

Expert-Led Care From Day One

Palladium Private’s clinical team includes psychotherapists, counsellors, veterans and registered nurses – many with lived experience of recovery themselves.

That lived experience shapes how the team works. It brings a practical understanding of what recovery actually involves, alongside the clinical skills to support it.

From the first session, each person works with an appointed therapist. The focus is on understanding what’s driving their experience and building real tools for life beyond the program.

Conditions We Support

Palladium Private’s residential program supports people experiencing a range of mental health and substance use conditions, including:

NSQHS Accredited Rehab

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the programs?

Our core program runs over multiple weeks — offering a carefully structured curriculum designed around our biopsychosocial model of care to support sustainable change. This clinically designed format allows time for stabilisation, reflection, and meaningful engagement with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Within the program’s framework, each client receives a schedule of care that includes psychological therapy, trauma-informed counselling, group sessions, physical and nutritional support, and optional detox where clinically indicated. For clients requiring additional support, extensions may be available following a clinical review.

Yes. Privacy is at the core of everything we do. Palladium Private is a self-funded facility, which means your stay is not recorded on any public or insurance databases. All client information is handled in strict confidence, and our location is discreet and secure

Palladium Private offers a structured digital detox as part of the recovery process. That means access to phones, laptops, and other devices is intentionally limited during your stay. We’ve found that stepping back from constant connectivity creates space for deeper reflection, stronger therapeutic outcomes, and more meaningful personal growth. Your phone and laptop will be safely stored, and access is limited to designated times and places. If you need to check in with family or manage essential responsibilities, our team will support that while encouraging boundaries that promote healing. This isn’t about restriction. It’s about creating the best conditions for lasting change.

At Palladium Private, your therapy is tailored, layered, and grounded in evidence. Your individualised program is designed in collaboration with your treating team and may include one-on-one psychotherapy, psychiatry, trauma-informed counselling, EMDR, CBT, somatic therapy, and more. We also integrate holistic modalities such as art therapy, meditation, yoga, personal training and nutritional support to address mind, body, and emotional wellbeing.

You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of experts who meet regularly to review your progress and adjust your treatment as needed. Our goal isn’t just short-term symptom relief; it’s long-term, sustainable recovery built on clinical excellence and genuine personal care.

Palladium Private is not typically covered by private health insurance. However, as part of the Sana Health Group network of treatment centres, our intake team can discuss options or refer you to another treatment centre covered by private health. Also, many of our clients can access funding through early release of superannuation or DVA entitlements. Our team can help guide you through the process and explore the right financial pathway for you.
