Mental Health Retreat in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland
Residential treatment for mental health & substance use. Structured, clinically led, and set set on quiet hinterland grounds at the foot of the Glasshouse Mountains.
Nationally Accredited for Quality and Safety
Palladium Private sits at the foot of the Glasshouse Mountains, a working residential treatment centre set on quiet hinterland grounds. Space, nature, and distance from daily life are part of what makes structured residential treatment work. The grounds give people somewhere to decompress between sessions, move their body, and start to feel like themselves again.
The property covers a mix of open lawns, walking tracks, and natural bushland. A 25-metre swimming pool, a heated spring-fed magnesium plunge pool, and an infrared sauna sit within the grounds alongside a fully equipped gym and a community garden.
Wildlife is part of daily life here – turtles by the water, platypus in the creek, kookaburras in the trees.
Spaces for therapy and treatment
Every treatment space at Palladium is designed for clinical work – quiet, private, and free from distraction.
Individual therapy rooms
One-on-one sessions take place in private, purpose-built rooms. Clients meet with their appointed therapist twice a week in a dedicated space for the deeper, individual work that sits alongside group therapy.
Group therapy and psychoeducation spaces
Group psychotherapy and psychoeducation sessions are a core part of the therapeutic community model. The shared spaces used for group work are designed to support connection without feeling clinical or institutional
Yoga and movement room
A light-filled room used for yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness-based movement practices. Sessions are facilitated as part of the weekly program schedule.
Massage room
Therapeutic massage is provided by qualified practitioners as part of the program’s holistic support. The room is private and purpose-built for the work.
Accomodation
Clients stay in private cabins set within the property’s natural surrounds. Most cabins are single-occupancy. A small number of dual-occupancy options are available, and a self-contained cabin upgrade is available for those wanting additional privacy, subject to availability.
Each cabin has been fitted out to feel restful rather than institutional, with comfortable furnishings, natural light, and private ensuite facilities. Shared common areas are available for meals and downtime. The combination of private space and shared community life is a deliberate feature of the therapeutic community model.
