General Manager

Dan oversees the needs of clients,
program facilitators, and Veterans, while also serving as a key liaison between
management and support staff. Drawing on his service in the Australian Defence Force (ADF),  Dan brings deep understanding and authentic empathy to his work with Veterans seeking support. With nearly two decades of experience in Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) rehabilitation settings, Dan is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for lasting recovery.  In his
downtime, he enjoys deep sea fishing, jet skiing, and spending quality time with friends, family, and his much-loved dogs

Dr Sampath Arvapalli

Clinical Director - Sana Health Group

MBBS, MRCPsych, CCT Addiction Psychiatry, FRANZCP

Dr Sampath Arvapalli is the Medical Director at Sana Health Group and provides clinical governance for Palladium Private’s residential program. As a Psychiatrist and Medical Director, Dr Sampath leads and supervises the multidisciplinary clinical team, provides specialist review and consultation, and ensures that psychiatric care delivered within the program operates safely, appropriately, and within scope under a structured clinical governance framework. With more than twenty years of experience across Australia and the United Kingdom, his role combines active clinical leadership with supervision, quality assurance, and service design, helping ensure consistent, high‑quality care across Palladium Private’s programs.

Dr Lisa Jones

Psychologist

BPsych, Ph.D.

Dr Jones has extensive experience in treating an array of mental health issues including depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety and stress, as well as a specialised interest in treating C-PTSD, PTSD, trauma, and dissociation.

She has supported many clients from diverse backgrounds through their struggles with addictions to alcohol, illegal and prescription drugs, food, gambling, sex, and pornography. 

She works broadly from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework and incorporates evidence-based therapeutic modalities to customise treatment plans for each client.

Dr Maxwell Qu

Psychiatrist & Addiction Medicine Specialist

FRANZCP, FAChAM

Dr Qu is a Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine Specialist contracted to Palladium Private, with specialist expertise in the treatment of substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health conditions. He completed his psychiatric training in Queensland and holds advanced qualifications in addiction psychiatry, with experience across outpatient and residential treatment settings in Brisbane.

At Palladium Private, Dr Qu provides ongoing psychiatric oversight and supervision within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to diagnostic review, treatment planning, medication management, and the management of complex or high‑risk presentations. His approach is evidence‑based, thoughtful, and grounded in clinical experience, with a particular interest in early intervention and supporting younger adults to develop effective coping strategies. In addition to his clinical role, Dr Qu is actively involved in research and education. 

Danny Westwood

Nurse Manager

BNursing

Danny serves as the Registered Nurse at Palladium Private, delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based care within the mental health and AOD space. With seven years of service in the Royal Australian Air Force, he brings professionalism, resilience, and a strong ethic of care to his clinical practice.

In addition to his extensive lived experience with mental health and AOD, Danny is currently undertaking a Master of Mental Health Nursing, enhancing his capability in advanced clinical assessment, trauma-responsive care, and complex client support. His lived experience underpins a non-judgemental and empathetic approach, allowing him to build trust and meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.

Danny is deeply committed to improving client outcomes and is driven by a genuine passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of those seeking recovery and support.

Oscar Chari

Registered Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

MSc (DD), MNP, Dip HE (Nurs) 

Oscar Chari is a Registered Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Palladium Private, with more than twenty years of mental health experience across the United Kingdom and Australia. His clinical practice focuses on dual‑diagnosis care, medication withdrawal assistance, and supporting individuals with co‑occurring substance use and mental health conditions in a residential setting. Practicing within his endorsed scope and under psychiatrist‑led clinical governance, Oscar conducts comprehensive psychiatric assessments, prescribes and manages psychotropic medication, and delivers therapeutic interventions as part of individualized care plans. He works closely with the Medical Director and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence‑based care, with clearly defined supervision and escalation pathways for complex or high‑risk presentations. Oscar’s approach is structured, practical, and recovery‑focused, supporting clinical stability while helping clients build skills for meaningful and sustained recovery.
